One-Off Machined Parts, Made to Your Drawing

Need a single custom part, not a production run? We CNC machine one-off parts for prototypes, broken machine components, test fixtures and custom tools — from a drawing, a 3D model or a physical sample.

One-Off CNC Machining Without the Runaround

Most machine shops are built for repeat production and push single-part requests to the bottom of the queue. Our workflow is set up for one-off machining: engineers quote directly from your file, programs are written for the single piece, and setups are kept simple to control cost.

If a one-off order is very small, a minimum machining charge may apply. We show it upfront on the quote so you can decide quickly.

Common one-off jobs

  • Replacement parts for machines no longer supported
  • Custom adapters, spacers and mounting plates
  • Jigs, fixtures and inspection gauges
  • Single prototype parts for design checks
  • Modified versions of standard parts

No Drawing? Send a Sample or Photos

For replacement parts we can work from a worn or broken sample. Send photos with key dimensions first; if the part is suitable, our engineers measure the sample and prepare a drawing for your confirmation before machining.

Already have CAD? Send STEP, IGES, PDF or DWG files and see how we handle custom parts from drawings.

One Part Today, More Tomorrow

Many one-off orders become repeat orders. We keep your program and drawing on file, so re-ordering the same part — or a batch of 10 or 100 — is simple. See our low-volume CNC machining service.

Our Ordering Process

  1. Send drawing

Upload 2D/3D files with quantity, material and finish.

  2. DFM review

Our engineer checks manufacturability and cost drivers.

  3. Quotation

Clear unit price, lead time and any minimum charge.

  4. First article

Optional sample for your approval before the batch.

  5. Inspect & ship

Dimensional inspection, protective packing, worldwide delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really machine just one part?

Yes. Single-piece orders are accepted. A minimum machining charge may apply to very small parts and is shown on the quote.

Can you copy a broken part without a drawing?

In many cases yes. Send photos and dimensions first; if suitable, we measure the sample and create a drawing for your approval before machining.

How is a one-off part priced?

Price is based on material, machining time and setup/programming time. Setup is a larger share of cost for single parts, so simple designs are more economical.

Can I order more of the same part later?

Yes. We keep your drawing and program on file for fast repeat orders.

Have a Drawing? Let’s Review Your Project.

Send your PDF, STEP or DWG file with quantity and material. An engineer reviews every drawing and replies with a quotation and DFM suggestions — usually within 24 hours.
